Why Not to Vote for John McCain or Barack Obama for President
John McCain thinks speculation in the commodities market should be investigated, when speculation is a function of the commodities market.
McCain thinks Guantanamo Bay should be closed and head chopping, barbarian terrorists, and unlawful combatants should have the same rights of habeas corpus that citizens have in this country to have lawyers and due process.
McCain thinks the oil companies' profits are too high.
McCain thinks executives should not make whatever their companies think they should make. I.e., the free market should not decide salaries, government should.
McCain thinks illegal aliens should receive amnesty.
McCain wants the U.S. to cripple its economy by taxing carbon emissions and force us to use mercury laden compact fluorescent light bulbs, whether we want to or not, to accommodate unproven, man made Global Warming theory.
McCain throws Republicans and Conservatives under the bus every chance he gets.
What's good about John McCain? He may appoint Justices who will follow the Constitution and not legislate from the bench; he will continue the Bush tax cuts; he will keep troops in Iraq until it is safe and strong; he won't push for Government Healthcare; he's against pork-barrel/earmark spending.

Obama thinks that the government should provide healthcare to the citizens (and noncitizens) of this country, the same government that cannot manage disaster relief (Katrina), that cannot manage Medicare or Social Security without losing money hand over fist. This will increase the tax burden on everyone and lead to decreased quality of healthcare.
Obama thinks we need to leave Iraq before it is safe for its people and strong enough to defend itself against al Qaida and Iran.

What's good about Barack Obama? He doesn't throw Democrats under the bus (except for Hillary).
